- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced celery stalk
- 1 cup canned button mushrooms, sliced
- 1/3 cup diced carrots
- 1/3 cup diced potatoes
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water or chicken stock
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose cream
- 1 1/2 cups diced leftover chicken
- salt and pepper to taste
- pastry puff
- parsley

- In the Chef Series 28 cm Non-Stick Frypan, melt butter and saute green bell pepper, celery, mushrooms, carrots, and potatoes in medium heat for 2 minutes.
- Remove the Frypan off the heat and stir in the flour.
- Gradually stir in chicken stock and milk.
- Put back the Frypan on the stove. Stir continuously until mixture starts to simmer and thicken. Cook with cover on for 3 minutes over medium heat.
- Add the cream and stir through.
- Add the diced leftover chicken and grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper, and simmer for another minute.
- Pour Chicken a La King on pastry puff, garnish with parsley and serve while hot.
